Any architects on here?

What do they generally cost? how does it work and what do they do for their money? Might sound like a daft question but we're hoping to build an extension to the house we're buying and haven't done this big a project before...

    I guess you just need to keep chasing him then. Give him a kick up the bum!

    My windows are starting to go in tomorrow morning! This feels like a tipping point for me as then the plasterer can do around the windows in the bedrooms and the painting can start. :-)

    Wow! super excited for you :-)

    Plastering was a lot quicker than i thought it would be. It does take a while to dry though but i guess you could get a dehumidifier if you're desperate to move ahead to painting?
