Everywhere i seem to look is in rainy season - we want a tropical holiday hot and sunny and the 2nd week to do something active !!! really stuck

any ideas somewhere that is not in rainy season mid sept ?? ( only place i have come up with it Italy or Cyprus - but fancied somewhere more exotic !!!)

Thanks xxx

How about a cruise? you could do a cruise and stay, 1st week a nice relaxing holiday at a hotel 2nd week on the cruise ship wake up everyday somewhere different and have different adventures.

we are going on 1 with ocean village but chose to do 2 week full cruise!

We're getting married late August so have had the same problem. I've been caught in a hurricane in Mexico before and I've no intention of doing it again so wasn't prepared to take the risk!

We've just booked 4 nights in Kuala Lumpar and then 10 nights in Penang. We looked at trying to do Las Vegas and somewhere else but couldn't agree where, the options were Hawaii, San Diego and Florida I think. What about places like Maldives, Bali, Indonesia?

We are getting married in August and will honeymoon in aug and sept. We are looking at california, hawaii and las vegas, so u will have a combination of sun, sea and fun!!!

I have been advised to not go Florida or Mexico because of the hurricane season.

    Hope this helps

We are just back from our honeymoon in Mexico (Riviera Maya) in September and it was gorgeous weather, very hot and absolutely lovely! No hurricanes in the slightest and not even rain!!! We took a chance and it was fine!

We had the last week Aug, first week of September in Western America, brilliant weather. We did a monsterr tour, San Francisco, Monterey, Yosemite Park, Death Valley, Vegas then LA. It was an amazing holiday, with plenty of activites to do in each place. We did a sky dive in Vegas, as well as shooting loads of guns at a range, and a trip over the grand canyon.

    Hope it helps

We got married last September and honeymooned in the Maldives. It was pure heaven!Bright blue sky, pure white sand and not a drop of rain during teh day (had 2 showers in the evening). You could combine a week there with quite a few more active places.

We're getting married at the end of August next year and so honeymoon in September. We're going to go to Bali and the Gili islands in Lombok (and Singapore for a couple of days on the way out there). Bali is very exotic, fairly cheap once you are there, and you can do loads of stuff. There is white water rafting/diving/ various other stuff. And September is meant to be ideal out there!

We have the same problem, we want to go somewhere totally exotic that will be the holiday of a lifetime but it's rainy season everywhere.

We are thinking of Mauritius because September seems to have their lowest rainfall of the year. If you get a Virgin brochere they're doing quite a lot of deals!

We did the Maldives during the last week of August, and it was fine. No rain at all, and although we were warned that the sea might be a bit cloudy because the sand can be churned up a bit, it was absolutely fine and didn't effect the diving or anything.
