Wedding Venues in Derbyshire Heeelllpp.

What about hotel type places? The Best Western in Kegworth is lovely, and although technically in South Yorkshire, the Mosborough Hall Best Western is lovely too. I know acouple of people who got married at Ringwood Hall Hotel who were impressed with what they got but I didn't go to them. And in terms of marquee type things, a friend had teepee marquees in the gardens of Woodthorpe Hall. It looked amazing with loads of fairy lights, modern but relaxed.

I can picture one more venue in my head that a school friend got martied in but I can't remember the name. If it comes to me I'll pop it on. All that keeps coming to mind is that they had fish and chips!

For a barn in Derbyshire I always think of Donington Park Farmhouse which is about 30 mins down the road from me in Leicester

another friend got married at the priest house in donnington and that was equally as nice

ive never been but i always hear about morley hayes on the radio haha

Derbyshire is my stomping ground.

If you want a modern barn then the two places that spring to immediately mind would be Swancar Farm & Carriage Hall. They're both in Nottingham though but it's not far from Derby as you probably already know. Swancar is ludicrously busy but absolutely GORGEOUS.

There's also Shottle Hall which has a barn too and that's in Derbyshire. Again Shottle is incredibly popular.

For a marquee you can try Osmaston Park which is also in Derbyshire.

Images that you may of seen of venues with drapes could also of been done (draped ) by outside venue dressers. So most venues, not all, could have drapes added if that's the look you are wanting to go for.

Sometimes the reason a drape is used in a venue is to cover things up, so you may come across a venue where drapes would actually spoil a venue.
