It is the most beautiful dress I've seen too (hence finding your post while looking for it second hand online!) I need to try one on yet, but am hoping to do so soon as my wedding is in May.

Do you know anyone who lives in the US who could buy the dress for you and then post it over?

If I end up getting it (I'd have to get it from the US too) - I'll let you know, it sounds like we are a similar size

Hi, Its USD 6300 as quoted to me by Kelinfield Bridal in New York and the Claire Pettibone Flagship Store in Beverly Hills (they wont ship a dress to the UK) they keep telling me to go to Blackburn Bridal in London - which is where I tried it on, omg it is amazing its so much more beautiful in real life!

Actually here's a thought, if you do get it soon I will definitely be interested in buying it off you for my Wedding in July? I mean if you didnt want to keep it, its cutting it a bit fine I know! but I do have a dress I am thinking of buying instead as I just dont have the money for Orange Blossom. I'm gutted as I think a bride should totally have the Dress of her dreams & if I was working I would of paid the £5600 Blackburn Bridal are asking for it, but I'm off on Maternity Leave. Have been for almost a year so running out of money! If you like the Idea of possibly sharing the Dress so you get some of your money back let me know! xx

i am based in N.Ireland so i can't pop into their store, plus i was riped off by another internet order from a woman in Wales so I am a bit over sensity about risking it again

I agree with 'Leighbaby' and that the only way to get the dress is if you know someone in the states who could purchase it for you....I too am in love with this dress - only discovered Claire Pettibone in the last few days.....and just have to purchase a dress from her collections for my wedding next September . I found it difficult to find the price of this dress online.....reading your posts £5.5k is stretching my budget....Do these dresses come up slightly small?

I hope you manage to get your dream dress - I too cannot settle for anything less! I also love the 'Mystere' dress......Im planning on booking an appointment with Blackburn Bridal soon.

The only thing is - noone in the United States will send the Dress, well not established boutiques anyway its against policy as obviously places like Blackburn Bridal sell the Dress, and it would be taking their customers away. I've been to Blackburn Bridal, its a gorgeous salon and the staff are lovely, but the gown is £5600 and I believe possibly even going up in price soon to go with inflation and next years prices.

I for one cannot afford to spend almost £6k on a dress even if it is my wedding knowing I will only ever wear it the once! I have trawelled the Internet for a second hand dress or sample dress but chance will be a fine thing! I even (have a Computer geek boyfriend) changed my I.P Address so I could search as if I was in the USA but still to no avail.

Im praying the 'mystere' dress is not as expensive as 'cherry blossom'!
