Paper flowers

Future*mrsP, 14 January, 2015 at 16:48 Posted on For Sale 0 3

I have been looking at alternatives to a traditional floral bouquet and I really like paper flowers. But i love the ones that dont look like they are trying to be real flowers. Someone posted a pic on here the other day of a paper bouquet and some of the flowers had writing on, like they were made from a page from a book. I have looked at more pictures and i really love them. So does anyone have any recommendations of where i could get this sort of thing from?

They are origami flowers and becoming increasingly popular. My daughter and her friends mad the buttonholes and bouquets for her best friend's wedding last November. They were very effective. Take a lot of making though! If you to ebay and search origami bouquet you'll get loads up. Some look fab - particularly love the Tulip effect ones.

I live in Cheshire. Been looking at various websites and prices seem to range from about £30 up to over £100 for just a bouquet.... so definitely some shopping around to be done. Are you just having bouquet or other flowers too?

Ooooo well the lady who is doing ours is LOVELY!! And she is based in a florist in Hoylake so depending on where you are in cheshire it might not be too far? I live in Wigan but saw her at wedding fayre and instantly fell in love with her flowers. This is the shop-
