As per the rules: This is the place to list any wedding items you have for sale. (private sales under £50 only please)

Anything over that amount, you'll need to go elsewhere.

I realise that is the rule on this forum, I was wondering if there was elsewhere on this site I could post it?

No, the for sale forums are the only place items can be listed for sale.

Where the seller stated the price as over £50? Really? Find me one!

I think that the issue may have been highlighted by it being a one time poster selling brand new dress: who's to know it's not a trader.

I think that dresses do sneak in sometimes, but usually as part of a wedding package list and from posters who are well known as genuine brides from previous involvement in the forum.

I think this is where the problem comes in, Just because they may be a well known genuine bride they shouldnt be able to break the rules and advertise their dress. That just doesnt seem quite fair.

    Hi,

I just wanted to clarify about rule breaks on this forum - due to an increasing amount, and complaints, we're trying to more actively moderate this forum and make sure that the rules are followed. It doesn't matter who the poster is or how long they've been on the site.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thank you for your help.

I can assure you I am not a trader, I am a pregnant bride getting married in October and I have had to purchase a maternity gown as my beautiful brand new dress no longer fits.

i understand the rules so will be putting it on eBay.

    Hello,

I recently bought some centre pieces for £80 on here I think they are great and a wonderful price and I was happy to pay that but why is the limit set at £50 as obv the item i bought shouldn't have been advertised ? also seen numerous posts selling other items not just dresses for more than £50
