I'm not really keen on posting it out to be honest. It's glass and quite weighty, so i'd not want to risk it being damaged in transit.

The cheapest courier quote i've found is £6.99, or £8.49 guaranteed next day with insurance.

Will check what size our bottom cake is. Wouldn't lots of bubble wrap and polystyrene secure it? x

What lowest you'd take for the cake stand with insurance postage please, really like it but wedding on tight budget x

Taking into consideration that if I have to post i'd need to actually go out and buy packaging materials, the lowest I could take would be the £10 I was looking for, plus the quoted postage as that's literally the cost just for the courier. I know that's not especially cheap though, sorry. You might be better off trying to pick one up locally? Do you have a TK Maxx or anything nearby, they usually have odd bits and pieces like that?
