Wedding Photo Albums

tayto, 11 June, 2013 at 09:33 Posted on Just Married 0 6

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice on photo albums. We decided to get a CD only package and do the album ourselves. I'm looking for advice on what I should get. I originally thought to get one of the old style traditional albums similar to my parents - photos mounted with tissue paper in between - however, a lot of my friends have said that it's too old fashioned and that I should go for something 'newer' - can anyone recommend me an album please?!

Yes, I definitely will do a photobook but it will be for the more fun pics from the day - I've used photobox in the past to do it for friends' weddings and this is the one we've gone for: /photo-books. I will do one of those again but for now I was more looking for the 'official' type albums...... Maybe the more serious ones with just a small selection of pics in a large size, gift boxed & maybe slightly more special!

Loadsagifts has some good suggestions. Photobox do Groupons on their photobooks quite often so maybe hold off until they run one again, I think they even offer a layflat photobook now. As for what style you should get it's your album, your taste may be very different to your friends so go with what you want to look at for years to come, not them!

Not on the High Street seem to do a really nice collection of personalised albums. I can't recommend the suppliers I use unfortunately because they only give access to pro photographers - if you can't find something suitable is it a possibility to go back to your wedding photographer and ask them to design an album for you, or else find a wedding album designer to suit your needs?
