What to do oooh what to do .....

Sands, 14 November, 2008 at 11:37 Posted on Just Married 0 3

I can't decide what to do with my wedding dress it's been just over a month now and i still can't figure out what to do with it. TBH it's kinda getting in the way now as every night we put it on the sofa and in the morning it gets laid on the bed as we simpley just don't have the room/space for it and it is becoming a pain in the you know what ☹️ Now i love my dress and don't really want to get rid of it but at this point i'm thinking it might be for the best.

Does anybody else have the same problem?

Yes i'm in the same situation, although the dress is being stored at mum and dad's house so it's not in my way but in theirs.

I don't want to sell it but i know it's the most sensible option. I'll never wear it again, but i love it too much and it feels such a shame for it to be stuck in a spare room.

I'd also feel bad about selling it because my nana and grandad paid for it.

Chids i'm sorry to hear you are in the same boat as me, although you seem worse off then me as your lovely grand parents bought it for you! Have you spoken to them about it to see what they think would be best?

I also wanted wanted to keep mine incase i ever had a daughter and pass it on to her but with fashion forever changing this would not be a good idea, so i fear perhaps the best thing to do would be to sell my much loved wedding dress.....

The other thing is i have no idea where (besides ebay) or even how i'd go about doing so.

    Mine's at my mums

I'd love to dye it and make it into something evening but i fear it is too bridey for that to happen. Plus i have no idea how well tafeta dyes.

My only other plan was to buy a box to store it in.
