Basic photographer wanted - Bristol - July 8th 2022

Have you contacted local collages? The ones near us have students who are looking to build their portfolio so will come and shoot the wedding for a small fee to cover their costs but it helps them practice. Or maybe look at local Facebook groups as sometimes people starting out will post on there. Is difficult as most professionals wont do a couple of hours as it means they can only do one wedding on the day and is not cost effective for them unfortunately to do what you want. Hopefully you will find something

You might find it easier if you get married midweek - very few photographers will do a part-day at the weekend (unless it's out of season), but we found a few that would do it midweek.

I'm not sure if they'll travel that far, but we used Capture the Moment in Cwmbran, and they do a custom package Monday-Thursday, starting from £300. You basically pick the 'segments' of the day you want covered. We just had ceremony and some group/couple shots afterward. And of all our suppliers, they were the most pro-active in providing support to their couples during Covid, when we all had to postpone our weddings - they really did go above and beyond to be helpful.
