When planning my wedding I was determined to dress the room myself and do all the finishing touches myself. The venue I had chosen (Owen House Wedding Barn) is beautiful and didnt need much decoration at all.
I wanted a rustic theme to fit the barn and decided that logs, jars and soft lighting was the best. I saved jars for the two years that we were engaged and got all family and friends on board to help decorate them. I made my own candles and decorated them and arranged all the centre pieces myself.
I was a bit nervous before the big day as I wasnt able to practice what the whole room would look like but, without blowing my own trumpet, it looked amazing and was just enough without being too over the top.
Now that the wedding is over I am looking to sell all the decorations. I have 10 table centre pieces complete with flowers, lots of logs of all different sizes, candles, gin bottles, wooden signs and more. There is enough to dress the main room and the ceremony room.
