Gospel Choir near Milton Keynes

Hi, I am trying to find a reasonably priced gospel choir (only 3-4 people). A choir performed at a wedding at my local church earlier this year, I was told by the vicar that she had been told by the couple the prices started at £800.00 but when I contacted their manager he quoted the cheapest for 3 singers and a keyboard player as £1,400.0 plus Vat plus travelling costs. This seems way too much. I have an entire jazz band playing for an hour and a half at the drinks reception for £800.00 and then a rock band playing all evening for £700.00. Does anyone have any idea of the going rates for gospel singers and any recommendations. The trouble with searching the Internet is only the same very large and very corporate choirs are listed.
