Getting married this Saturday - 5 days ago! Very excited but a bit nervous, I know I’m the type to worry about everyone else rather than focus on myself! Any tips from others? Dos and donts?

My tip and things to do now would be to take off all of those stickers from your shoes, and the labels off the dresses and any jewellery you are using. So many times I have seen people struggle at he last minute trying to remove them, not what you need at that stage in the day when the car has just turned up.

And make sure you have a pair of scissors to hand too.

Don't try and leave putting your dress on until the last minute and If your dress is a corset back then leave a little longer for it to be laced up than you have already planned. Perhaps the person doing it for you has had 1 practice or even just watched someone in the dress shop do it, but this time its for real and that adds extra pressure - I have seen loops missed out and having to re-do it all. Also they will of had their nails done which they will be trying to be careful with too. So just leave more time for it.

A tip I have been given is to take some time for just the 2 of you. A 15 minute break in the day to be alone, as it all goes so quickly. Wishing you all the luck for your day x

I would also say to allow some time just for yourself and your H2B, cos you will be socialising a lot on that day. Me and my now husband are both introverts, but my guest list is quite heavy on my part. I also got excited when I saw my friends who I haven't seen in ages, so was also having a quick chinwag with them, before feeling I should move on to someone else and have a quick chat!

Also times literally flies that day and - literally I woke up at 6am and then I blinked, and it was 1.30am in the early hours! haha! Times really does fly when you're having fun. In fact it went so fast, that I thought I had loads of time after my hair and makeup was done, so was chilling with family before putting my dress on etc. but then I was literally rushing to put stuff on! Luckily I still had time for photos etc but unfortunately I forgot to ask my hair/make up lady to secure my veil and this kept falling out throughout the day :-(

It was honestly one of the best days of my life and I would do it all again in a heartbeat (minus the monies £££s!) Haha!
