Inclusive Bridesmaid Dresses

Abigail, 18 June, 2021 at 22:40 Posted on Wanted 1 6
Hi!

I have 4 bridesmaids who have a range of body sizes/types and I would love to find somewhere that has dresses for all of them. Ideally, we would be able to go somewhere in person and try dresses on without anyone feeling too uncomfortable, but I’m also open to online stores. We’re based in Wiltshire, but happy to travel for the right place.
To give an idea of the sizes I’m talking about:1. Size 8/10, 5’2”2. Size 12/14, 5’6”3. Size 18/20, 5’2”4. Size 28/30, 5’10”
I would be grateful for any suggestions! :-)
Thank you!
Abi

Do you have any idea of style of dress you would like?
You could try wedding dress shops which stock bridesmaid dresses.

If you want actual shops maybe some in the outlet like phase 8 or monsoon, quiz, Hobbs etc. House of fraiser used to do lovely dresses in different sizes but I think it’s more of an outlet now. Though could go further a field to bristol/ bath/ Oxford for that. Also TK maxx, even if you look online. I’ve just got my bridesmaid dress from there. The other place is Next as think you can order online to the shop and they have some styles which would suit everyone.
There is those dresses which can be worn in different ways (with the straps) and do different colours/sizes but I think they are mainly online. You could order a selection online and then have a trying one party in your house together. Then any you don’t like, send them back. Just make sure you know of their returns policy first.

I went for those multi-way dresses - one size fits all (my sister tried hers on whilst 36 weeks pregnant and it still looked amazing!) can be worn so many different ways so bridesmaids can pick a style that suits them. I ordered mine from Etsy - bit of a gamble but only cost £40 each and are actually stunning so pleased I took the risk x

I’ve also gone for multi-way dresses, my bridesmaid range from size 8-18. I bought mine from ASOS as we were in lockdown and I’m so pleased with them.
