Hoping someone can help me please.
Although my partner and I are not practicing, we come from different backgrounds. I am of Portuguese, Cape Verdean descent and born into the Christianity (Catholic), whereas my Husband-to-be is of Moroccan, Tunisian descent born into Islam (Sunni).
For our main wedding day it will be mainly ceremonial, a friend of ours will say some special words and we will exchange vows (In Essex).
Beforehand though, we plan to have the registry signed and hopefully a Nikah done with our closest kin (in London).
I know there are Imams that accept and agree to blessing interfaith marriages but I don't know where to start. Whilst I try to have a look around myself, can anyone point me in the right direction or recommend anything/anyone to help please?
