Marriage Certificate

Hi all, quick question to those of you already married/changing your last name, Should we get more than one copy of our marriage certificate? Will it be needed? Do you have to use original to change name for everything (UK) Any advice appreciated.

    We got 3 as cheaper to get them now than order after. I had to send them off to change bank, mortgage, driver's license, passport and a whole lot more so I had 2 out at any one time and then a spare

    We got 4 but I could have got away with 3. I had to send original for passport and driver's licence but did my bank in a branch so I didn't have to send another off. Everyone else was happy with a copy.

    You can always request more if you need them. For our council it's the same price whether you pre order or not so it's worth you looking into that.

    I don't have a passport so would only be my driving license so I'm thinking 2 should be fine then hopefully. Thank you x
