Maternity Bridesmaid Dresses??

Charlotte, 8 December, 2021 at 13:41 Posted on For Sale 0 4

So my fabulous MOH has just announced she is pregnant, which is awesome after 2 years of trying and several miscarriage's, I could not be happier for her, but, I now have a dilemma!

I have already bought her and my other Adult BM the below dresses in the same style but different colours. I doubt we will be able to alter it as she will be 7 months at the wedding so I need to get her another dress but cannot seem to find any maternity dresses in a similar style, especially with the strap detail, which I know I wont get perfect, but it may look odd if she has nothing.

Help a girl out, anyone able to recommend anything or a site?

This is the dress, hers is the green one:

MOH Dress

thank you

Hi, you could try Tiffany Rise or Seraphine.
Although that dress looks as if it would be ok to accommodate a baby bump. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and I think it would fit my bump.

They may not have matching colours but maya bridal and asos seem to have a few bridesmaid maternity dresses. The advantage of these places is you can order fairly last minute as you won’t know how big she’ll be.

But looking at your original dress, it might still be workable….. when I was pregnant I had a party dress that was a similar cut, as the skirt flows from the bust, you could probably get a bump in there. If not, a seamstress may be able to alter it…. Maybe put in a corset back to give it a little more room! X

We have seen one in asos that is the same colour so could be an option. I also think we may be able to alter the original dependant on how big she is as you are right, it comes from under the bust so will speak to a seamstress and see if is doable as would rather she still has the matching dress with the other BM. I think we need to wait till mid March and see how big she is and go from there as wedding is end of April, worse case we get the asos one as a back up and sell it on if we can't return. Thanks for your advice x
