No underskirt

This is a bit of a strange one but everything for the wedding went perfect, before, on the day and after except one thing. 20 minutes before leaving for the wedding ceremony, I put on my dress and my underskirt isn't there. My dress was sheath so I had a slightly baggy bottom end which didnt hang right for the train/walking all day as all my fittings were done wearing the underskirt.


At first I thought I left it at home but upon returning it isnt there. The only plausible explaination because I have everything else, is that the seamstress still has it. I saw the seamstress for last fitting end of August and picked up my dress the day before the wedding on Thursday 15th September. I remember her saying in the last fitting I could take the underskirt home and she will keep the dress and veil to steam. I took everything else I had with me that day home but I never saw the underskirt since then so I must have left it there but why didn't my seamstress tell me? Even when I collected the dress there was no mention of an underskirt.
I don't know now whether I should bother saying anything or not. Everything else about the day was amazing except my dress which didnt fit properly. I know that's obviously not important in the grand scheme of things but all my photos are now tainted with me knowing the dress didnt look right.
So frustrating! Would be good to know some opinions on this strange circumstance. Thank you.
