Sand ceremony sets

Sinéad, 13 June, 2022 at 12:12 Posted on Wanted 0 6
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has seen reasonably priced sand ceremony sets?

We really want to have a sand ceremony and include our two children . We need a set wit one large glass and four smaller ones. Thanks 😊

We looked at it but found it was quite a lot of money, and was going to be a bit of a faff! In the end we had my stepdaughter do a reading, which actually was nicer as she had her own part to play in the wedding. Maybe they could do a joint reading, the one we had was really cute as was about family, i can PM it to you as it defo could be done by 2 kids.

Charlotte that sounds lovely. Our kids are only 7 and 5. Our daughter could do a reading but our son is only starting school in September. But I'd love to see the reading maybe it would be suitable for our daughter.
    Thanks

I have messaged you, our daughter's 8 and she did a great job. Maybe your son could walk you down the aisle or be the ring bearer rather than the best man, as they then ask for the rings and he could present them? Obviously have someone hold on to them until the time though!

Our daughter is a flower girl and our son is pageboy. We just want to include them as much as possible 🙂

Why not create your own? All you need is one large container and four smaller ones and sand. You can buy bags of sand from a garden centre, and glasses from anywhere - even charity shops. You could either pick 4 the same or 4 different ones to symbolise your different personalities coming together into one family. i think it will probably be far cheaper as well as more unique if you buy your own items rather than a ready made kit.

Alternatively, if you are having a ceremony indoors and fire regs allow it, you could light a candle instead.

This is a wonderful idea. I thinks this might be a great way to do it. We are planning on using a little sand from the beach where we go engaged 🙂
