Wedding dress after wedding?

I haven’t had my wedding yet, however I have sold a wedding dress as I bought one then chose a different one. I listed it on Facebook marketplace and eBay. It eventually sold on Ebay but did take a while ☺️

I’m mine framed and will hang it either going up the stairs or on the landing

I've sent mine to be cleaned and then going to box it up for safe keeping.
I like the idea of keeping it safe for the future and seeing what happens. Some people have had theirs altered to like a cocktail dress too
I might even lose weight and do a photoshoot in it later haha.

I'm getting married for the second time next September, but I fell into the same trap with the first one.
I sold my wedding dress to a rental salon after my first wedding. It was in excellent condition, I wore it once at our wedding apart from the dress fittings before. This was in Hungary, 10 years ago, but the salon is still in business today, called Almássy Salon.
I don't know if there is such a facility here in the UK, but I think there are certainly people who will take over wedding dresses that have been worn once.
