I'm not very good at writing so won't be doing a long reports but would love to share some pictures of our special days with you.
A little bit about us & our days:
We decided to get married in Bangkok where my parents live but lots of my husband's family can't afford to fly out so we decided to have a mini UK wedding for 50 people. We got married at Registry Office in Guildford on a cold winter day in December. After the ceremony we went to The Guildhall - gorgeous building on The High Street for drinks & canape.
On Christmas Day we flew off to sunny Bangkok. Our wedding day was 4 days away so lots planning & finishing touches to do.
On the day, the Thai wedding consists of morning engagement ceremony where lots of traditional Thai things happened - we had about 50 guests for this. This was held at my parents house and started at 6.30am (yes you guessed it I got up at 4am for hair & make up).
The evening ceremony was held at Sukhothai Hotel in city centre. We had over 200 guests coming - many are long distant family, my parents' friends and lots of my friends.
We are waiting to get our Thai DVD - can't wait to see all the details and all the bits I missed on the day!
