Good question. The thing that got me is that banks always ask your marital status so maybe he needs to let them know. Not sure

HMRC, DWP (if getting any benefits) Council if getting any benefits, Employer and any pensions provider/administrator (if not your employer) can;t think of any others not covered. I've started to doing my change of names etc today. It's my last day at work tomorrow and I want to come back to it all being in my new name
