Congratulations to any newly weds!

Does anyone have any feedback or advice as to anything they would do differently? Any positives or negatives that could help myself and others who are planning! Thank you

My main piece of advice would be to limit what you share about your wedding and with whom, especially if you are planning anything 'non standard'. EVERYONE will have an opinion about your wedding and many will be very vocal if they disagree with your decisions. So come up with some stock phrases to deflect questions so that you don't get drawn into arguments over your decisions. People told us that wedding planning was extremely stressful. We actually found the planning very easy - what was stressful was fending off everyone else's opinions!
On a related note, work out what you and your OH want and stick to it - don't be pressured into having stuff you don't want just because 'everyone' does it.
And don't let your relationship become all about the wedding because life carries on after! Make sure you have some 'wedding free' time together in the midst of the planning.
