I'm trying to find out which dept I need to call - the woman on their switch board just keeps putting me through to some voicemail system. I live on a new housing development, to get to the local shops and buses we need to cut across a strip of grass...

My H has his in 6 weeks and i'm looking for any advice for him, he has done his Phd part time sponsored by his employer so is not local to the University (it's 3 hours drive away) as a result he rarely sees his supervisor (just several times a year)...

Do you pay them a Christmas bonus/get them a gift? I only got my cleaner in May so first time it has come up, it's an independant cleaner rather than Molly Maid or similar.
