I've managed to get it booked in at another garage at 11am, but I can't for the life of me remember if I need to take any documents with me like insurance or vehicle registration?

My car's mot ran out on saturday, I have it booked in for thursday (earliest they can do it). Is ok for me to still drive my car till then? TIA
