drapes? are they really needed?

Heres my hall me and h2b cant decide on whether or not we need them? the ceilings smooth and white and the lights will be off with gold up lighters shining up? although very nice im not sure if the final look will make enough difference to be worth...

any hibs? how to dry out rose petals for confetti?

I have just discovered i have over 50 roses in my front garden and tried drying out a petal and it did fine but i have no idea how to store them and stop then going mouldy, anyone know?
