I made a big slab but on cooling it appears that the middle is gooey-er than ir should be. Will it "dry out" overnight or can I put it back in the oven for 5 - 10 mins? TIA

I have a new sterling silver ring. The first time I wore it it has picked up some marks, not scratches, more like an imprint of something I was holding. Does sterling silver do this easily? Although the marks are von the underside of the ring so...

It didn't set, any ideas what I might have done wrong? I whisked for 10 mins and cooked for 10 mins at 200C. I used half fat evap and light muscovado. heeeeeeeeeeelp.
