1 Year to go. Monthly gifts for my bride to be - ideas needed

Can I just say this is so sweet and romantic!!! Such a lovely idea, and if this were me I'd love it!! Think the 12 red roses for 12 months etc is a good idea! Or another idea could be like something that reminds you of her or of something you done together? But whatever you do it's so nice! =) Wee bit jealous! Haha!

I can imagine it being a struggle finding gifts to suit particular numbers, but i'm sure between us all we'll have some suggestions! Do you have a budget in mind for each gift?

What about a "mix tape" with 11 songs on it?

10 - A date night, ten pin bowling?

2- Set of earrings (there's 2 of them, that counts right!?)

1- Bottle of her favourite perfume for the wedding?

3 - Posh 3 course meal

x hours pampering (beauty treatments/spa)

x special memories (photo album/frame containing just those special pictures that mean a lot to you)

Hi all. Thank you for your kind words. My other half is the one who is keeper, trust me!

I went for a dozen yellow roses (matches the colour theme). I'm just after the 12 month timeline, so I need to think about month 11 straight away.

My budget is going to be around £30-£50 a month. I like the idea of the bowling night (I might have to let her win though!)

The 3 course meal is good shout as well!

I haven't posted in ages and needed to on this, what a lovely idea! For 11 what about 'elevenses' at a tea room, maybe at the weekend nearest to the date if it lands on a weekday and that's not convenient?

Will have a think about the other numbers too!

Whow! My OH didn't think to get a gift for our wedding, let alone for 12mths beforehand! Here are some ideas, but depends how precise you want to be about the whole number thing:

- 10 pedicure or manicure (10 fingers/toes)

- 6 pretty hair clips

- x sexy knickers

- pandora bracelet with a charm each month

- 5 nice meals you cook for her

- 4 body massage (for the 4 limbs?)

- 4 hair wash, colour, trim, blow dry

- 3 body products (face cream, body wash, scrub etc)

- Photo book with pics from when you met and your relationship so far

I don't think I can come up with better ideas than were already mentioned (love the 3 course meal and manicure/pedicure for 10!). Ticket for a band she likes with e.g. 5 members? Or on the off chance that she's into a sport with x players a side (eg soccer for 11)... ticket for a match? For any number that you can't find anything for you could make a hamper with x of her favourite foods and drinks, or fill a pretty box with fancy chocolates. For 2, maybe 2 nights in a nice hotel? You could always allocate more of your budget to that month by getting smaller things for some other months.

Ok, this idea sounds slightly tacky - but bear with me!

bingo terms, legs eleven. - some gorgeous real silk stockings (guess this depends on your fiances taste, i may just be filling my own dita-von-teese lovetank here....).

or, work out where in the zodiac the 11th month lands for your plan, and use the astrological symbol as a guide on what to choose.

I wear a lot of Marc Jacobs perfume, its not too strong but really pretty and girlie
