Hello, I only have a little experience with wed2b for bridesmaid dresses which would have taken 16 weeks to come, but I do believe that they're wedding dreses are ready available? (Don't quote me on that!) I phoned them before I went and they were very helpful on the phone so I would recommend doing that. Also I would shop around now for a seamstress as some companies can take a long time too. There is a second hand website called bridalreloved which has many shops and u can view all of it online too so that might be worth a shot too. Sale items in actual bridal shops too I think r ready available. Good luck!

I purchased a wedding dress off the rack as I had 5 months to go until wedding (short engagement) and most bridal shops wanted 10+ months to make one to fit. All I did was purchase the dress which I took home that same day and I’m getting dress alterations this weekend. It’s 100% do - able. Wed2b have dresses you can take home that day. Another idea is possibly to purchase some off of ASOS etc or places like Monsoon, Phase Eight. It’s all do-able so don’t stress but I’d recommend sorting it all this weekend and booking your alterations appointment in xx

Try looking at secondhand and also some bridal boutiques have sale models that you can take away on the day.

Or you could try the high street retailers. Or mail order, only with that you have to pay out and then wait for a refund if it doesn't work, so that might cause a cash flow issue. I mail ordered half a dozen during lockdown and they mostly took 3-4 days to arrive.

    Hi.

I just bought my dress from Wed2B in Manchester last weekend. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend them. It was the first shop I went to, I went back the next morning and found THE dress and cancelled all my other appointments!

They are all 'off the rack' so you go in, talk about your size and what you'd like and they take 4 dresses out for you to try on. If there isn't anyone waiting you can try on more but we had people waiting, hence coming back the next morning. The girls were all really knowledgeable and helpful. I think it would have helped if I had more of an idea of what I was looking for but I literally had no idea. They also have a great range of accessories and can advise you. The dress itself was 600 pounds but my mum went for the best veil and other accessories so the price of absolutely everything including underskirt and wonderful carry boxes came to 1000. I compared what I bought against Wedd4less and think the prices were better.

They also advised on what work would need doing for each dress so they can help you choose one that only needs taking up, for example, so you don't need lengthy alterations.

    Good luck x
