11.30am or early Brides.......

BrogstarBride, 13 February, 2013 at 15:19 Posted on Planning 0 5

What is your Timing plan for the morning of the Wedding? What time do you plan on getting up, how much time are you allowing for hair and make up and putting on your dress?

11:30am is the time for your ceremony? Are you having professional hair and make up done and is it in salon or at home?

Your best bet would be to ask the hairdresser how long she would take, because this might vary on your hairstyle, but in terms of make up and putting dress on, leave about an hour window? This seems like a lot of time but you don't want to be rushed, and also you will probably want to eat something in between. Dress goes on last, from a toggy point of view I basically arrived 1 hour 30 minutes pre the ceremony (if the ceremony is only 10 mins away) and when I arrive they are usually a quarter of the way through make up.

This is me! 11am Smiley smile

7am Dad up! Crossiants in the oven. Mom in the Shower.

7.30am Girls up, sister and FG arrive, we have breakfast, hair dresser arrives and starts on my Mom.

7.45am Me and BM2 shower (not together I must add!)

8am Hairdresser starts on me, MUA arrives and starts on my Mom

8.30 My hair done, my make up time, BM2 has hair done, BM1 hair wash

9.00 BM1 hair done, BM2 make up done, I do FG hair

    9.30 BM2 makeup done

10.00 We all should be done (fingers crossed) we get dressed!!! But alas we have 30mins spare

    10.30 BM leave for Church

10.50 Me and Pops leave for Church arriving just after 11am

I'll be interested to see what others timings are like because I just picked these out of fresh air! My MUA said 8am start for her would be fine but she'd need to start straight away on someone so we'd have to have one hair done already.
