Ooh you have the same colour scheme as me (even down to the grey morning suits!) do you mind me asking where you're getting your bridesmaid dresses from? I've had trouble finding dresses in dusky lilac....

They are Hilary Morgan DEB427 (for some reason I cant find them by that name online) but they are in plum chiffon. They showed me a swatch of this colour in the book and I went straight past it, but they showed me another dress in that colour and it was perfect, so don't be persuaded by the swatches! I would have never called it "plum" either - it's quite light really, but looks different in other fabric. I found that all the other materials looked too "purple" for what I wanted whereas you get that more dusky look with chiffon

Oh wow! I'm absolutely overwhelmed by all of your comments!

The venue is Rowton Castle in Shrewsbury. It's just had a refurb back in November and we were invited to go back and see it again, and I think it's even more beautiful! We go back again at the end of this month for our "2 month prior" appointment to start finalising details!

I am starting to be able to picture everything together now, even picked up our wedding rings yesterday!

Yes, I knew it recognised it it's beautiful!! When we went on our castle venue hunt, we had a look there. Sadly was just a little bit far away so we chose one closer.

Oh how exciting!! I bet 2 months will go verrrry quickly too xxx

It was the first and only place we looked at, as OH fell in love with the pictures when we saw it online. We were originally going to have a small low cost wedding, but decided that we are only going to do this once, and if you're getting married in a castle everything else has to be just as beautiful! haha!

It is about 40 minutes away from us, but most of our guests are family and had no issues travelling to get there. We have managed to book up all of the rooms except two aswell, so all the family can travel home the following day after breakfast

And I know, when we booked it it was just over a year, and now it's less than 12 weeks - I can't believe how fast it has come around!

I can see why you fell in love with it, it really is beautiful and I agree about the castle thing - we were trying to go low cost but it hasn't quite worked out that way now!
