We had a 12pm ceremony and no one was bored. We didn't have to set up that morning though - we were able to do it the day before (by 'we' I mean me, my mam and my bridesmaid).

    09.00 - Get ready

    12.00 - Civil ceremony

12.45 - Reception drinks and photos

14.30 - Guests sit down for wedding breakfast and groom and FOB speeches

    15.00 - Wedding breakfast

    17.00 - Best Man speeches

    18.00 - Evening guests arrived

19.00 - First dance (approx timings)

    21.00 - Evening buffet

    23.30 - Last orders

24.00 - Everyone back to hotel

Dont worry!! We got married at 11 and our timings were -

    11 - Tie the knot

11.30 - Drinks, photos, chat with the guests,

    1 - Speeches

    1.30 - Wedding Breakfast

    3.30 - Break

    6.30 - Evening reception starts

    7.30 - first dance & disco

    12.00 - Home time!

The break we had in the middle was a real worry for me as I thought people would be bored, honestly, best thing we ever did!! We were able to mingle with our day guests, chill out have a drink and relax before the evening do started. Some of the older and younger guests were able to go and have a nap and some of the guests mingled in their rooms upstairs and had a little party of their own with a few snuck in bottles of rum lol! Might have joined in that later on...

Honestly, on the day, you wont care, you'll be so deliriously happy that you wont even be thinking about it!

    Have fun xx

I also have a gap between about 5:30 and 7:30, but we're not too worried. I figured people will probably just chill for a bit, have a wander round the building/grounds, freshen up at the hotel which is 2 mins walk etc. We are planning on doing some more coupley 'sun going down' shots then too.

ahh your my date twin!! And same time ceremony too!

I've organised a company to bring giant connect 4 which will be there from 4pm-8pm.

And I have bought a box of giant jenga, and giant dominoes.

Thinking that will be enough entertainment for now. It will give people a chance to mingle more, and check into rooms if needed, and chill out before the evening reception
