I designed them myself and got them made. I enjoyed it so much that I think I might go into the invitation making business! Haha.

We're cancelling our wedding, well I am he'd still like to go a head with it, but I'm really not happy about marrying him. So tomorrows job is emailing/telephoning suppliers and telling them we're cancelling, highly doubt we'd get any 'major' deposits back such as venue or photographer but they might when I tell them I'm now on the transplant list for new lungs, as my lung condition has got worse

So technically I feel like I cant commit myself to anything just yet.

@LS I've been thinking about you this week. As hard as it is glad you've made a choice that's right for you.

Didn't just want to comment on the wedding bit, but not sure what to say on your health problems. My thoughts are with you and sending a big hug. If you need anyone to talk to, pop back you know where we are.

Thanks I was so pleased with them, and I loved designing them! I found a decent supplier, so I think I am going to start seeing if I can make them for people I also go the main invites delivered which are a pocket invitation and super happy with them too. I'll see if I can post a picture of them soon Does anyone else have theirs ready?

We are sending the save the dates out super early, as my family is travelling from Aus... so hopefully the huge notice will mean they might be able to come....

HI happy. I have designed mine and uploaded it to vistaprint. I will order save the dates in July or August ready to send in September. A year before. I think I'll send out invites at 6 months. Are you doing the table plan etc too?

Absolutely what Jen said, LS. I've been quiet recently but couldn't not respond this time. I'm dealing with some pretty serious health issues of my own - brain surgery yay! - and I know exactly how you feel. Everything seems so up in the air while you wait. I know though that for you this isn't all about your health and I'm glad you've made a decision that it seems like you've been wanting to make for months now. I hope things get better for you, feel free to come and chat any time

Thanks Jen, appreciate it I'm alright, just a bit tired of waiting around. If it's happening this side of the wedding, I need time to grow my hair back! haha

In lighter news, after being a little quiet on the wedding front, last night we printed our test save the dates. We want to print on kraft paper and decided to give it a go ourselves. The tests went really well and we're happy, so today I've ordered the rest of the paper we need and some envelopes. We already have a roll of magnet tap stuff so aside from any extra ink, they are good to go for under £20! Feels good to do stuff ourselves

In wedding planning, we booked our piper, I had a big chat with my mum and we seem to have resolved a lot of issues between us and we're closer than before but with a mutual understanding for each other's position in the wedding planning. Our florist wants to see us in the next few weeks to confirm what we want so I've been pinteresting like a crazy person! Also found some potential shoes to go with my dress, weeee!

@Calella Glad things are a bit better between you and your mum now ?

Yeah pinterest is my addiction, you know it's bad when you manage to get to the bottom of the feed you are looking at, which I have done on a number of occasions ?

I do prefer the top pair... I was worried that the lace hem would get caught in the stones, but then I remembered I'll have a hoop so it shouldn't matter! Should it?!

I'm off dress shopping for the first time tomorrow(got my big pants at the ready!), got 2 appointments booked and another 2 places lined up for the next week or so. Am super excited!

Am going to my regular hairdresser's in the morning too for him to do something with my hair for the day (I'm hoping to book him for the wedding as he knows my hair so well but not sure how he is at wedding hair so gonna "try before I buy"!)

A year and 12 days to go! Eek! Can't believe how quickly it's coming round!!
