I love it so much, honestly the photos don't even do it justice, I'm so in love! It's a bit on the tight side now but I'll get my weight back down and all will be well! Hurray for ex samples of discontinued dresses!

I just got an email from our florist to say she's booked someone else on our date, even though we had a provisional booking with her since January. She emailed 2 weeks ago to confirm our date and to ask us to go to a consultation when she got back her holidays. She just got back and apparently that's her booked up!

We were all set to pay our deposit with her, so I'm pretty peed off!

Maybe we dodged a bullet since this makes her seem rather unreliable! You don't tell someone "I'll hold your date and let you know if anyone else asks for it so you can have first refusal" then just go back on that! I sent her an email back saying we were disappointed, but were sure we could find someone who could do what we wanted.

Well I sent an email back saying I wasn't happy. I'm going to a wedding fair on Sunday so hopefully will find someone there. Glad I've at least got insurance in case it all goes wrong! She was such a lovely person as well. I've never seen my OH get so excited about flowers until we saw her work! Hopefully we can find someone else to do what we want. It's not that fancy!

16th July Ladies and Gents

49 Days to go and we are officially at the 12 month mark. How quick has this come round. Wahoo ... ?

1 year and 2 days to go and I'm just waiting for our cake lady to send me an invoice then everything that can be booked is done. It's taken much longer than I expected, I can't believe how slow suppliers can be at getting back to people who are trying to book them.

In more exciting news we have just booked our honeymoon! So excited!

We went six years ago and said then we'd go back for our honeymoon if we ever got married. We even had the hotel picked out! Recently we started thinking maybe we shouldn't go somewhere we've been before and we've spent ages researching other places. Then tonight we made a spur of the moment decision to book as we know we love it there.

That sounds amazing Boro_Bex, we want to go to Mexico too but (due to finances) think ours will have to wait until early 2017 and a mini-moon will be on the cards after our wedding! Wouldn't this wedding planning thing be much easier with an endless pot of cash?! Lol!

Haha it would indeed. im starting to pay all the suppliers off now but ive got a massive chunk of the venue to pay. i hate thinking about the money side of it lol

We're doing similar with our honeymoon. Married on the Saturday then probably fly to Barcelona for a few days on the Tuesday. Then Sri Lanka in January for 2 weeks! The weather is best in January, we'll have extra money, something to look forward to and extra holiday allowance at work! Also means we can get away from the rubbish weather at home!

Another things off the tick list, I've booked my hair and makeup artisit. She wasn't who I originally planned to book, but I just had a better feeling with her than the other salon. I've spoke to her and she went through all kinds with me and sent me info through for my trial prep etc (already booked for July next year! Ha). For my me, my mum, bridesmaid and flower girl, all hair and make up it's £300, plus shell even make the flower girl feel involved in the makeup (she'll be 10) with a little bit of lip gloss, and I get a little touch up kit for the day. Couldn't be happier with my choice, well apart from her telling me she would have to get to me for 7/730 for a 1pm wedding ?, but ahh well needs must.

It's a great feeling to tick things off the list isn't it. It's all getting a bit exciting now with just over 13 months to go and suddenly feeling very real.

I've still got to wait to rebook wedding ceremony at new venue but honeymoon all booked and paid for. We're having 10 nights all inclusive in the Dominican Republic 3 days after the wedding. So excited lol !!!

We are going to Orlando Florida for our honeymoon, so excited

We're pretty much sorted for all the major details, just need to pay for it now!! Our rings have been made and all paid for so they're in the safe at the jewellers. I've just got to stop myself going in every week to try it on! We've also got an appointment tomorrow morning to give notice & then next week with the florist to confirm details. Last Friday marked the 11 month mark so I feel like we're getting somewhere now. Also we didn't think we'd be able to afford a honeymoon but h2b's dad has very kindly offered to pay for a week in Crete so we can get away. I'm so touched he's been that generous. Oh and my headband arrived today & my friend has managed to sell my first dress so things are going pretty well.
