I've noticed 2016 wedding threads becoming more frequent recently, so I thought I'd get the list started for 2016 brides! The 2015 thread was only a couple of months later in the timeframe than this one is, so hopefully I'm not being too eager!! Let me know if I can add you to the list January...

    We were at a wedding yesterday and ours will now be the next one we go to! I lost count of the times people said to us 'you're next', it makes it all seem more real. We also have a countdown and we're at 168 days now!

    Jayne are you the first of the 2016 lot to get married then? It's crazy to think that it all starts in a few weeks and some of the people who've been planning the same time as me are getting married. I've been here and planning since the end of 2013 and I can't believe how quick the time has gone. It doesn't feel like I've been on here and planning thay long. So looking forward to next year and im waiting for my freak out to happen! Ha.

    Someone on facebook this week did a '3 things you're looking forward to' and one of the things was our wedding! That made me realise other people are starting to think about it now, for so long I think everyone forgot about it because it was too far away to think about. Feels much more real when you notice other people being excited too!

    Hi all. Haven't been on here in a while and just saw my ticker - 44 days!!

    All going well in general. I had to chase some suppliers which was annoying but feel back on track now. At the weekend i got so emotional (very unlike me) just feeling a bit overwelmed that so many people want to spend the day with us and watch us get married. It's a lovely feeling so just embrace it if you get it!!

    Today I randomly thought about my throw bouquet. I got one as I want to keep my own but I can count on one hand how many single ladies will be there - waste of money??

    I just keep saying its next year. On 1st Jan when its this year we fly to Lapland on 3rd! Feel OK. Not sleeping great and an outbreak of damn spots lol. Just excited. As long as I don't listen to wedding music etc then I break down. Will be a nervous crying wreck on the day. Just concentrating on what needs doing. Appointments. Friends coming to stay from Spain who are coming with us etc.

    Happy new year all! I also did the whole 'we're getting married this year!' thing at midnight, and then promptly burst into tears (of joy, I hasten to add). So yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to be a crier on the day!

    I'm glad I'm not going to be the only one. As it's getting closer and closer, all I do is burst in to tears when I think about anything wedding related (entrance music, saying my vows etc).

    I so hope I can hold it together on the day lol!

    I'm going to cry too, I just know it! Might be able to keep it together, but when I see his face waiting for me, that'll be it. Maybe it's an excuse to have a proper hankie to blot the tears in a ladylike manner, going to find one with a blue embroidered something on it, for my something blue!
