My BMs cost me £220 a dress and £150 for a marabou shrug each. IDK if they need a £150 shrug, but my mum's paying and she insisted.

However, you can get nice dresses from places like Asos and Debenhams which won't cost anywhere near as much.

Oooh, harking back to talk about music, Madamred i love your choices! OH is a huge Jurassic Park fan - we are going to watch it at the Royal Albert hall in November with a live soundtrack! I think I'm having the theme from the Mummy to walk in to, then we are having Indiana Jones as we sign the register. Our exit music will be Morecambe and Wise 'Bring me sunshine'. This makes me fill up a bit as my grandad used to sing it to me when i was little but it's just so happy and upbeat! I would say 'who doesn't love morecambe and wise?' but when i mentioned it to a work colleague in her mid twenties she did't have a clue. Oh and we will of course be doing the dance

Drawing a total blank on invitations, argh!! I've Googled, Etsy'd and wedding showed to the limit but haven't yet found anything quite right that fits in budget (preferably don't want to pay more than £5 per invite)

I'm SO glad it's not just me! I've put a stone on since I ordered my dress. I really hope that trying it on gives me a boost or something. I'm really struggling. We can do it though xx

Going back to group next week after 3 weeks off so going to do some SP days starting Monday (got friends visiting this weekend)

We've just set a date for November 4th 2017! Woo!

Looking forward to catching up on everyone's planning! Lots to do but already got venue, tog and DJ. Might have a suit (if it ever arrives) and planning on going to have a look at dresses soon and will be trying to book registrar a year to the day (can't do before that in our city - rubbish!).

Glad it's not just me too... have piled on a stone since I bought my dress... need to pluck up the courage to go and try it again to give myself the kick up the backside I need to start dieting!!

I've not piled on the weight but I bought a too small sample and the weight just isn't going. I get so motivated, go to weight watchers eat right and hit the gym. Then have a huge binge and give up. I find it easier in autumn and winter though because I love soups and big veg filled casseroles that are low points. Just need to stop piling my food up with cheese! I've also been seeing a personal trainer so if I can't diet it off hopefully I can build some muscle to hide it a bit!

I've been dribbling over a pair of Rachel Simpson shoes for over a year. Finally went to try them on . . . . they look AWFUL! Court shoes do not go well with my wide feet and thick ankles. Fortunately I'd accidentally bought a back up pair that I love just as much. I wish shoe designers would realise that when you have bigger feet you also have longer toes - the toe cleavage effect did not help matters. And sigh . . weight loss. BeforeI got engaged I had decided I wanted to lose 30 kilos. Two years on and 10 months to the wedding and I've barely shifted 10. But I've been going to the gym and that 10 kilos is 2 dress sizes so I do feel better than I did. I need to learn not to set myself targets as my crippling fear of failure just leads me to self sabotage. Someone took a picture of me at a dance recently and it's the first picture in a long time that I thought I looked okay in. So Ineed to get my head around accepting the way I am not the way I wish I was. I wish I could be more accepting of my body shape - I've wasted a lot of time, energy and emotion on the subject.

I have big feet - I wish shoe makers understood that it didn't necessarily mean wide feet!

2 dress sizes is fab - your weight probably hasn't changed as much because you've been building muscles while losing fat. 1KG of muscle takes up less space than 1KG of fat

It's so hard to learn to accept yourself when you've never been that happy before - if you master it, let me know!

6 months to the day for me today!!! Feel very relaxed about it all to be honest, let's see what it's like after Christmas!

Ooo Rachel Simpson shoes are pretty. I have wide feet and hate when they look all smooshed into shoes because they don't have enough toe space. I'm going to get these Rainbow Club shoes but get them dyed blue, they seem to do the exact shade I'd been picturing in my head (which is this colour).

I made an appointment to go look at bridesmaid dresses in the same shop I bought my wedding dress from and we bought our invitations this week too, so I'll be gluing pocket fold invites together for a while!

I'm doing loads of overtime at work at the minute and just keep telling myself "that'll pay for X, that'll pay for Y". We thought we would have to take a loan out to pay for some of the day closer to the time, but it's looking like we'll be okay and should be able to scrape through without.

This is fab!
