You need to wait a couple of years - relationships and circumstances can change so much!

I’d say wait until 2023 (12-15 months before your wedding) - so much can change in 4 years.

I have known for a long time who I wanted my bridesmaids to be. My sister and my best friend of over 10yrs!
I have no date yet but considering 2023, no venue booked etc but I already asked them! If circumstances change then so be it. Either I find replacements or have none at all. Not in a harsh way just a laid back, trying to go with the flow kind of way.
There are no rules, do what makes you happy and what you can live with if circumstances change
