2025 Wedding

Hello all B2B's Smiley smile

I have booked our wedding for April 2025 and would just like some advice on when to send SAVE THE DATE cards out. Our wedding will be after the easter bank holiday (we are getting married mid-week) and I am considering getting these sent out earlier rather than later as I know people will need to request time off work and potentially sort out childcare arrangements (I am not having children at the wedding).

My thought process is the sooner people know, the better, really?

    I'd say 1-1.5 years in advance, because it's unlikely people will know what they're doing too far in advance and would normally plan holidays etc that far in advance and so can put your wedding on their calendar.

    I would maybe wait to send out the save the dates but give close family and friends a heads up now. Reasoning is that a lot can change in 3 years and you might have new best friends that you regret not having space for if you've filled all the spots early and things like that.

    Yeah, I definitely see that! Smiley smile I will let my close family and friends know a date, and maybe a year and a half before the wedding - send out the save the dates. Thank you for your advice Smiley smile
