2029 Bride.. πŸ’

Sophie, 21 February, 2026 at 14:11 Posted on Planning 0 3
Hi brides to be, I'm very new to this, we booked our wedding on Valentine's Day after being engaged for 3 years, together for 10!

Now I know 2029 is a very long way away, especially October 2029 which is when our wedding is, but I am SO excited and just want to start planning and looking.
Is there anything I can start doing now to make this easier for myself? How early is it ask family to be party of the bridal party because they're not going to change?

I have a timeline guide which may help with your planning! Here's the link: When To Book Your Wedding Suppliers: A Complete Guide

Some suppliers may not have their 2029 diary open yet, so it may just be about planning what it is you want. There's a great podcast by Your Wedding Unlimited and the first episode is How to plan your wedding planning which is so helpful for people in your current situation.

    Hope that helps!

It’s actually fine to ask people this early if you’re already sure. There’s no rule, and since they’re close family/friends you trust won’t change, a casual β€œI’d love you to be part of my bridal party when the time comes” is totally okay. Just keep it informal ultacard com so it doesn’t feel like a locked-in contract this far ahead.

The wedding beauty prep timeline is one of those things you don't realize matters so much until you're actually in it. One decision I'm so glad I made early was booking wispy lash extensions about two weeks before the wedding β€” they gave the most natural, feathery look in all the photos without needing any mascara at all. Highly recommend doing a trial set first so you know exactly how they'll look on your eye shape before the big day!
