38g u bra nightmare

Amyandjack1991, 30 January, 2023 at 07:09 Posted on Wedding Attire 0 4
I’ve been looking for a U bra for a while now. Absolute nightmare to say the least. When you have boobs this big you need support in any dress! Short of going and getting one made ( which I have no idea where to start with that?!) does anyone have some advice Or pointers?

As a J cup, I feel your pain. Bravissimo & Freya are my usual go-tos, but I must admit I've not heard of a U bra before--what exactly is it that you need?

My usual is bravissimo too but effectively I need a very deep front bra and low back for my strapped wedding dress. But they only seem to do things like that for smaller busted ladies

Have you spoken with your seamstress about the bra support being sewn in?
I’m an F with a spaghetti strap, deep v dress too and mine will all be part of the dress so I don’t need a separate bra. Maybe you have looked at this already or been told you definitely need one, but if not it may be worth an ask. Between bra support built in and boob tape, you may not need anything else.

I really struggled to find a suitable bra (32E) - I needed backless and none of them quite worked with my dress. There are also some body suits, like from Spanx (again, shape didn't work for me dress). I couldn't get cups sewn into my dress. I've ended up going for boob tape (Perky Pair - but there are plenty of other brands, some rated better than others for larger cup sizes) and was surprised at the support it gave. You can use extra tape to hold in place. Bit of a pain to take off at the end of the day though. Good luck!
