60 minute makeover rant

Rant seems to be justified... but step away from the TV ?

This always makes me laugh, how at the end they always say if you wanted the same thing doing it would cost about £10k!?

The one they did yesterday was vile. Mr BB and I were joking that they'll be straight off down B&Q as soon as they'd left ?

I think most of you know this already but Terri's a mate of mine in real life and is lovely. She's an absolute sweetheart. I can't work out why everyone seems to dislike her.

My cousin's house was done (back in the Claire Sweeney days) and it took 2 days to clear the house out and then each 30 minute slot that they show you is actually 2 hours...or was in her case.

They plan the makeover weeks ahead.
They strip the room and do all the prep work before the timer starts.
The "coffee break" is really 4 hours long to allow paint to dry.

Wasn't there a hitcher on this ages ago? Had rabbit blinds made? She said they don't actually decorate it, just paint the bits you can see on camera.

IIRC a Hitcher appeared on this show, although I have no idea who it was. I think they left her house in a right mess to.

She moaned about it, but I don't think there was a lot she could say.She still got free stuff after all.

Apparently the finish was crap, botched wallpaper and patchy paint etc, but what do you expect after 60 minutes.

They gave her leather sofas too that she was happy with, but she said that was different apparently. I remember watching it ?
