80 days around the world with Willy Fog

Mrs Cee, 24 February, 2009 at 20:27 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

Was just looking on you tube at the maid marian clips and came across the 80 days around the world with Willy Fog theme tune and this clip. I remember sending off my sae for a copy of the words to willy fog and then singing along.. Did anyone else do this, or was I the only saddo? I now have this song stuck in my head driving me mad!?

? Me!! Yep - I was a saddo too. Also wrote off to the Broom Cupboard on CBBC for the words to Cities of Gold as well.

I have a vague recollection of the Dogtanian and the Muskehounds words being available too!!!

    Funny what you remember innit!

Great Winnie the Pooh sweatshirt that Andy Crane is wearing in this clip from Youtube! Thought only girls wore Winnie the Pooh stuff....

WILLY FOG!!! I had the song stuck in my head as soon as I saw the post's title! And yes, I spent quite a while surfing Maid Marian clips on You Tube earlier. I am seriously considering asking for the MM box set for my birthday next month...

Cities of Gold! Love it!!! Dogtanian was my first crush, lol! He was such a handsome beagle. My mum has a picture I drew of him when I was about 4 that was surrounded by love hearts (I was good at drawing for my age).

And the best Christmas ever was the year I got my Edd the Duck glove puppet. I hope he's still in the loft and my mum didn't get rid...

Other personal faves are Pigeon Street, Henry's Cat (OH's ringtone, lol!), Trapdoor (have the DVD set), WIllo the Wisp (again have the DVD), Fraggle Rock, Raggy Dolls (have bought all of them as an adult - cost the price of an It bag) and The Raccoons (have a toy Cyril Sneer I bought for my OH due to their spooky similarities). I think I've regressed into a second childhood, which anyone who knows me from Flickr will corroborate ?
