I'm just had such a lovely surprise.
My old Infant school teacher has just sent me a DVD of my days at school.It's not just me, but events from the 3 yrs we were with her, She has always sent me a card on my Birthday, hers is the day before (Mine Christmas Day) - Can honestly say she is the world's best teacher.
Anyway this DVD - from age 4 - 8 yrs & it means so much to me, the last piece on there was our hat competion on 15th December 1982 , I came 1st & on there I was saying thank you for my prize & then I'm talking to my Mum saying how I'm going to go home & tell Nana & Papa about it, My Papa died at 4.30 that day.
My Dad is on there doing the sports day egg & spoon, doing the typical things my Dad would do.
Both these are memories I have told my Daughter about, & she saw them for real yesterday.
