Accommodation

Is there other accommodation nearby? Are some of your guests travelling long distance? And do you want anyone with you on the day of the wedding while you get ready? (Bridesmaids, mother, siblings etc) I'd make sure there is local accommodation available for anyone in these ategories and leave everyone else to sort themselves out.

When I've attended weddings in the past, I've either travelled back the same night or booked somewhere a fair distance away from the venue because it's tended to be cheaper!

We're also having to prioritise. We're reserving rooms for parents and grandparents and then will maybe give first priority to close friends. On the invites we'll suggest other local accommodation options for people to book.
