I've been trying to find a long range forcast for mine (end of May) but not been able to find one yet.

If its am consollation, just think how cool photos in the snow would look! I'm slightly worried about weather for our wedding - 1st November in Scotland!! Last november the first snow day was 12th Nov and seeing as we are almost snowed in in April... Thing is most of the guests are flying up so we could end up with a rather small gathering!!

Try metcheck for a long distance forecast, although I think you have to be a member. Farming weather forcasts are generally long distance too if you can find one...

My wedding website actually allowed me to put a weather predictor on it which is quite fun! It's not a pre-planning one but at least people can see a few days in advance!

For those getting married this summer:

'We read with a mixture of interest and giggles the UK Met Office Summer forecast for 2008 this year.

They expect it to be "Warmer and Wetter than average". However, don't go out without your sun cream and a brolly. Not surprisingly, we had some phone calls from journos during the day asking us what the forecast actually means?

The latest CFS forecast for this summer is now out and our initial reaction is to go with it, however La Nina is likely to cause a few problems with regards to sustained heatwaves this Summer.

Here is the latest forecast for Summer 2008 :-

April : Cooler and drier than average
May : Slightly warmer and drier than average
June : Warmer than average but average rainfall
July : Warmer and drier than average
August : Slightly warmer and wetter than average

So, make of that what you will. Should be a pretty average summer to be honest, but there are no signals that it's likely to be as hot as 2003 or as wet as 2007.'

Although looking at april so far, I don't expect this to be overly accurate!!
