After party!

Hey all,
I’m based in Suffolk, bury st edmunds. I have been engaged since 2019 & been dreaming of an abroad wedding since, however we have had another little boy since then (so I have a 3 and 1 year old) and the pandemic pushing us back abit financially & the fact of having 2 young children potentially making the abroad wedding that bit more difficult we have opted for a very small wedding in Suffolk. We are hoping to use the ballroom at the Atheneum to host the ceromony, and are wanting an after party, rather than a wedding breakfast, we would like either an events room, hotel, or village hall, to go back to and have a buffet & party there. Can anyone help with ideas? Locations? Insights to how they worked it? Ideas on how to bridge the gap between the ceromony and people arriving to the after venue (whilst my partner and I have some photos done)

Open to other ideas other than the Atheneum just trying to find our feet with having a small wedding in Suffolk that isn’t crazy expensive.
