Alba Rose- bluewater store

*Pugsley*, 13 October, 2013 at 11:42 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hiya,

Has anyone been to the Alba Rose store in Bluewater?

I was just wondering how big the selection of rings they have there is? Do they have all or almost all the ones they have online there?

It's about an hour for me to drive there so I want to make sure it's worth going.

Thanks!

We looked at getting our rings there. Its quite a small shop and although they had a fair few to try on I'd doubt it's all of the online ones. They had a lot of the different plain bands and a few shaped ones to try which is what we were looking at. If its a specific one could you give them a call and check?

They're a listed supplier so they might come on here and answer too

Oh yeah. I'd forgotten I'd seen them on here.

The band I want to try on isn't plain so I'm not sure they'll have it...

But I'd like to try on others too.

Also, OH isn't really sure what he wants other than 'not shiny' so he needs to try on a few.

I'll give them a call before I go I think.

If you're looking for a plain band, I imagine they'll have a good stock of widths and profiles for you to look through Smiley smile

generally, shops stock light, medium and heavyweight versions of standard ring profiles and they are usually available in a few widths

If you're not sure, just call them! Smiley smile

I have been past the store but didn't go in it looked quite small compared to other jewelers but then I dont think they do watches etc so I guess comparatively they don'y need as much space.

The shop is very small, however they did seem to have all the rings on their website in there.

OH ordered his ring in there last Saturday and they bought out a tray of rings - same selection as on the web. They only seemed to have one size in each ring though, not too bad but OH wished he could have tried on the ring he ordered in his size to see exactly how it would look.

Service was brilliant, they were more than happy to help, we ordered last week, they said it would take 7 days but called yesterday and they said it would be another 7 days so maybe best to get it delivered to your house if your not local like us.

    Thanks for all your help!

Think we'll just pop down to the shop in a week or two as it sounds like they'll still have a decent range (and hopefully the one I want).

Is it a ring from the collection or a design from the bespoke range??

there are hundreds of designs of previous rings made and you won't find them instore, however when I visited the Rayleigh store I was shown lots of rings that were from the collection, however when looking online at the collection rings none were just right so i have used the bespoke service to make my ring.

If the one you see online is just right give them a call, i found alba rose to be nothing but helpful, then you wont have a wasted journey.

The bespoke service cost £25 for the design, the communication has been great and they even send wax moulds to try on first, and have a year interest free deals too.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, cant wait to flash once it is here !
