Hi, what kind of wedding are you having.

i saw in a wedding fayre crystal bouquets they were really nice but i personally prefer flowers.

i have heard of teddy bears being carried down the aisle by the flower girls and young bms. not sure it would work for adults though???

maybe a really nice black/silver bag???

What are your reasons for not wanting flowers? It might help us to think of other things for you. Also do you have a photo of your dress?

To be honest, i just see them as an expense. Also personally (not wanting to offend anyone) dont think i could justify all the flowers being cut just to make the day pretty and die a few days later!! also again not wanting to upset anyone- not very keen on artificial flowers. i really need to carry something though as i can be a fiddler!!

at the dinner, we are using pot-plants to decorate, so can be given away / re-planted and not (hopefully!!) die.

i am wondering if there is a way to carry flowers/plants in a bouquet type thing that can be replanted? HMMMM!!???

If you didn't want to actually "carry" flowers how about a wrist corsage? You can still have your hands free then. Here are a few I have made but they can be made in your colour scheme:

I made this one in Black & Ivory. I could make a wrist corsage to match:

My friend carried a candle down the aisle in a storm lantern which looked lovely - but that was a winter wedding?

Yeah it was sooo lovely. It was quite dim light by the time she came in (not pitch black!!) and her and the bridesmaids came in with candles, with a singer unaccompanied who was singing live - I had goose bumps!!

I did see in one of my wedding mags a model carrying a tree branch with little flowers attached - it did look amazing but it was very high end fashion, i considered the idea for five seconds! anyway im having black too and my sis in law who is a florist suggested crystals and xmas decorations which im sure with the right ones and someone creative behind it they could look really good.
