alternative to floating candles?

Im looking at doing cylinder centrepieces with gel at the bottom and a rose inside but was wondering what i could use on the top of the watre? cant use candles due to health & safety?

Thaks sherrie that helps loads! i though it would silly without a candle but really doesnt! do you thin artificial rose stems would work or would i have to go down th fresh route?

You could use artificial heads as they float better than fresh, fresh tend to be haevy & flop to one side. If you are using stems to stand in the water then they will be ok as the stem will support them if that makes sense!
