Alternative to flower girl throwing petals? What are you doing?

Hi ladies,

I hadnt thought about what our flowergirl will be doing until my FMIL was telling her she will walk infront of me throwing petals.

Ive quite like the cute little flags that say 'here comes the bride' but im not sure if i'd feel a bit daft?

What are everyone elses flower girls doing? (mine will be 4 by the way)

    Yeah im not to keen on the petals too, I just cant decide about these flags? I like them but I dont want people to think 'who the eck does she think she is' ha ha xx

    I don't have a flower girl, but I'm planning on a "Here comes the bride"'sign for my page boy.

    I think the sign is lovely! I know nothing about kids but I would have thought a 4 year old would like to carry it? Could add some ribbons to it if she wants something more wand like?

    I was thinking of a wand before i saw these, yes I bet a few ribbons would look good! What a great idea!!
